Title: Turkey Day!
Post by: modelmaker on November 25, 2004, 12:01:09 pm
To those who celebrate the day:

                 Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish for peace on this earth and am thankful for the good life we are able to have here in the USA and wish the same for everyone else in this troubled world.

peace and love, Jay.

Well, I'm still in San Diego, waiting for a part for my Motorcycle, before heading off to Mexico for a few months to learn Spanish.

We are staying at a newly found friends house in the meantime, and he and his girlfriend were thoughtful enough to invite us to enjoy Thanksgiving with his family.

I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the kindness of strangers.  We did not know either of these people before coming to San Diego, and they invited us to stay with them for the weekend, and enjoy the holiday.  Amazing!!

Anyway, hope everyone had a great day, I sure did.

Cheers!

Watch out for the potholes in the Mexican roads.   Hope you enjoy the trip.  It's fun to hear about.

You can avoid the bad water and pot holes by learning spanish in South California.
