Title: Post Playing Now to blog?
Post by: tlongacre on November 25, 2004, 12:06:31 pm
there is an iTunes plugin:

WMPTuneLog

The creators of the fantastic Zempt blogging tool has created a fantastic new plugin for iTunes for Windows, that lets you display what you're playing in blog posts.

I would love a plug-in like this for MC -- that would post what I'm playing to my blog (or even, something like, post what I've played for the day to my blog once a day)?

I don't think this yet exists, but I may be wrong. Anyone else interested? Anyone want to develop such a thing?

I am sure that Rhino Banga's Playing Now plugin can do what you want.

Thanks. I knew we must already have something. I'd hate to think iTunes was ahead of MC  ;D

The Audioscrobbler service can do this I think.  You subscribe to Audioscrobbler as usual with the MC plugin, and then reference its own usage data in your blog.  Never tried it though!

Well, I haven't figured out how to do this with Audioscrobbler (my lack of knowledge about blogs, I'm sure). However, I did install and set up and account at Audioscrobbler and it was a) incredibly easy (did it both for iTunes and MC) and really cool.
