Title: Burned CDs have "Clicks"
Post by: azdood on November 30, 2004, 11:52:49 am
Hello You All - I just burned a CD and when my friend went to play it, it had loud "clicks" inbetween the songs.  It was an entire album that I ripped from the original CD.  Do any of you have a fix for this problem?  Thanks.

Try a search here, but it could be the Windows sound for changing files.  You can turn it off in Windows.

Try playing on another player to test.

Thanks for the quick reply.  My friend is in another state so I'll just burn another one and try it at home.

How do I turn off the Windows-changing-files thing and will is mess up other things I do with the computer?

Thanks again!

Thanks.  I got in there and changed a few settings.  I'll try burning again.

If the Windows sounds are the problem, it's on your friend's machine, not yours.

I'll go back and change the settings back.  Thanks and Happy Holidays!
