Title: my ipod's messed up!!

My ipod has music on it, and plays through iTunes, but just shows the !folder icon when disconnected. Is there a way to fix this? Is it a corrupted database?

Not yet, only just bought ipod from a friend, its been used with a mac, but i want to keep the music but use it on a pc, but when I connected it to my pc it messed up. My friend re-formatted it and put the tracks back, but I need to be able to put more on.

Can MC work with a mac formatted iPod on a pc?

All you need to do is install the iPod installer from the CD and initialize the iPod for use on a PC. You'll have to lose the existing music.
