Title: Command line parameters for Download Manager.exe?
Post by: Soundman on October 25, 2002, 06:41:51 pm
Hello. What command line options does Download Manager.exe support?  I learned about the /DOWNLOAD switch obliquely because it is used as one of the built-in command shortcuts in Media Scheduler.  But what about command line switches to stop it or to make it exit, etc?

HINT: This would make a good addition to the command line reference: http://www.musicex.com/mediajukebox/DevZone/CommandLine.html

Also, consider adding a /HELP or /? option to this and to mjextman.exe to show a Usage statement.

Thanks for a great product, and thanks for help with this question.

Try a search here for Scronch's notes on command line switches.  He's the expert.  There may have been some new commands added as a result of his cheesehead pestering.   ;D

Hi, JimH.

I searched everywhere for Scronch's notes, and there is a good bit of stuff about mjextman.exe and a little on Media Jukebox.exe, but absolutely nothing on Download Manager.exe.

Nevermind, though; I was able to get my script to work using Cygwin's wget.exe rather than Download Manager.

Yes, I don't know anything about Download Manager.exe.
