I'm using Media Center 9.1.319, and absolutely love it - no problems at all! However, recently I transferred all my mp3s onto my laptop, and wanted to put them into a different directory (a "shared" directory). All of my mp3s have been categorized into folders based on the artist and album name. How do I change the file locations in MC, while still keeping the folder names intact? I know I could just delete my entire collection, use Windows Explorer to move all the folders, and then import them back into MC, but I also wanted to keep the counts of # of plays, etc.
Thanks in advance!

Never mind, just figured it out. :) Just had to use the "rename" function instead. Good stuff!

?
I have what I think is a similar problem, but Rename doesn't seem to be a very easy solution.
I am doing a drastic reorganization of my hard drives after adding some storage space. I presently have over 12000 songs stored and would like to "simply" move them and their directory structure to another drive. It isn't as easy as renaming with a special rule (as far as I can tell).
Basically I just want to change the drive letter in the path of every file stored in my library. Is there something that I am missing that will help me do this?
Thanks,

How about a drag n drop with the file tree from within MC ?
Maybe a copy (safer than a Move for such a large amount)

Last night I installed the Replace Master plugin from King Sparta's website. I then added my entire library to Playing Now and used the plugin to replace all the instances of my old drive letter with the new one. It worked like a charm, MC even cleaned up all the old folders after it was done!
Thanks King Sparta. :)
Thanks hit_ny for sharing your idea. :)
