Title: Plugin (playingnow) doesn't show up

I installed PlayingNow and everything went fine. But it doesn't show up in Media Jukebox under plugins

Works fine with other plugins, such as sleep timer and Dicksons album viewer. Any idea of what is wrong?

Have tried uninstallning and doing it again, installing to a different directory, adding the plugin manually in the Plugin Manager, but no success...

Do you have Media Jukebox or Media center? What version...

You may also want to check out Rhino's website...

Have registered on the board but not been accepted yet

No one else that have had a similar problem with plugins not showing up in MJ?

Weird thing is that when I install the MC trial, Playing Now appears and works fine. Driving me nuts :)

You should be active now on the forum.   The reason I have changed it to moderated acceptance is due to the recent spamming that appeared on there.


Re your problem I suspect you may have a missing DLL or two, therefore can you download DependencyWalker (http://dependencywalker.com/) and open up the PlayingNow.DLL (found in the installation directory) to see if it reports anything missing (it will be indicated by a red icon beside it's name).

Weird thing is that it works fine for Media Center, but once I installed Media Jukebox again it just disappears from the plug in list.

The plugin obviously works, but why won't MJ recognize it?

Problem solved.   PlayingNow didn't register itself in the location where v8 looks for plugins.   It does now.
