I often use Media Center as an audio player in background while using other Windows programs.
Wouldn't it be nice to see the title of the current playing track in the title bar of the active window? Is there any plug-in that does just that?

PlugIn is called Write Playing.... Done by Mattsnuts.

I have downloaded WritePlaying, installed it, restarted Media Center, enabled "Display in Media Center's Title Bar", but nothing happens.
Media Center has no title bar, by the way, and I would like to see the current track in the other application's title bar too.
I am using Windows XP SP2.
Am I missing something?

Now that I restarted my PC the situation is clearer. The WritePlaying plug-in actually writes the title of the current track to a non-existing Media Center title bar. The title does not show in the Media Center title bar, of course, but appears in the Application Bar icon at the bottom of the screen.
The Applications Bar was cluttered yesterday, and I could only see the application icon, not the attached string. Winamp (natively) also scrolls the title string in the Application Bar, making it more readable. The default WritePlaying delay for refreshing the Application Bar icon is awfully slow.
What I am looking for is a plug-in like “Titlebar Info” for Winamp, that display the current playing track in the title bar of ANY active application.
Any suggestion?

This isn't exactly what you are looking for, but how about TrueLaunch Bar,

Seems interesting, I'll take a look at it.
Will it support Media Center?
