Title: CD Labeler Broken in 8.0.388

I Just downloaded this version and everything looked great until I tried to make some labels. I get this error...."Can not start program 'C:\PROGRAM FILES\MEDIA\JUKEBOX\CDLabeler.exe'. Error unknown. I get a secondary error that is....."A required .DLL file, OLEACC.DLL, was not found."

I'm blaming this error to the downloading of 8.0.388 because I have not downloaded any other software recently and I used the Labeler just 4 days ago.

Please advise.

That is a bug created in the .net compiler Microsoft ships.  If you can find that file on another PC you have, you can transfer it to the one where you have the problem.

Or you can wait until we make a "work around" version.

Mine is located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\oleacc.dll

I will look for the file when I get home..... BUT .....why was it not a problem last week, prior to updating MJ to the lastet version?

We switched to the latest Microsoft compiler and it has this bug.

Ok...I found the file on another machine. I then tried to run the REGSRV32.exe and register the file, but I got an error. Will the OLEACC.DLL library run on a win98 machine?

Please Advise :-/

Homer,
You should just be able to throw the dll into your C:\System directory and it will work.  No need to register it.

Try a google search for the oleacc.dll problem.  It is a known Microsoft problem because of their latest compiler.  You should find a lot of info, and I think there is a fix at microsoft.com.

We should have this problem fixed in the next build of MJ.

Your tip was right I went to Microsoft downloads, downloaded the file and it fixed the cd labeler. I still have the problem it not printing the background or color.

If you could save the label file and email it to me, I'll take a look at the background/color problem. Could you post your system info here as well?
