I have music downloaded into Media Jukebox but how do I format these files into MP3 for transfer to a MP3 player?

Media Jukebox or Media Center? The latest version is MC v10. Latest version of MJ is 8 - if this is yours you should post on the MJ forum on this site.

However, some more information on what you are trying to do might be helpful. What format are your files in currently? There are many reasons why converting from one format to another is often not a good idea in terms of sound quality. What sort of player? There may be built in support for your device which will do what you want.

Anyway, in MC10 the quick answer is: select the files (in MC) and choose Tools/Library tools/Convert format and take it from there. If you do this I recommend you ensure you have a copy of the original files somewhere in case of problems.
