Title: How to remove particular music files from MC
Post by: wrafter on December 17, 2004, 02:41:22 pm
Hi,

I have two hard drives, C and F.

On F I have some great tunes; on C I have incomplete tunes.

Unfortunately both appear in my Media Center, and I'm wondering if there's any way to remove all C-located files from my MC, leaving only those tunes resident on the F drive?

you can search for file name path in the filename field (or what ever it is called)

for c:\

select all, delete

Alt.fix, clicked on music icon just under search, which listed all tracks in my MC; then scrolled across to file located, view it alphabetically, highlighted all of C and removed from MC. Thanks for the lead KingSparta, though I wasn't able to search for files on C via the search functionality as you had suggested, unfortunately.
