Title: Synchronizing my Ipod with two differnt PC's
Post by: psionet on December 22, 2004, 11:21:18 pm
Hi there

I am trying to synchronise my Ipod with my home  and work PC.  When I do this I lose my play lists.

How should I be doing this or is it not possible.  Is there other things I need to watch out for.

Does MC support the star rating system on the Ipod?  Are there other benefits in using MC

Thanks for your help

Dave

Dave,

First off, please get MC 11.0.162.

After synching, you should always have whatever playlists exist and which are selected on the PC you are synching with. Hypothetically if you have the same files on two PCs and totally different playlists on each PC selected for the sync, MC should quickly sync  to either PC and create the playlists on each one after each sync.

MC supports synching the iPod ratings to and from iPod.
