I am using MC10.0.173 on win98SE. I have loaded the IPOD driver from:
http://republika.pl/mho/ipod/
When I initialize the IPOD mini and manually upload files they show up in the IPOD song/album list. After disconnecting and reconecting (yes, I used eject from both MC and explorer) I can upload songs, but they do not show up on the IPOD. File names are a bit distorted when I view them with MC as well.
I am using the handheld plug in 9.0.126
Performance is also an issue. I am currently only getting about 750K transfer rate on the USB 2.0 port.
Thanks,
Doug

Doug,
The iPod is not technically supported in 98. Having said that, do you have any luck transferring files to it with any other application?

Steve,
I have not used any other applications. At this time I can transfer files with MC10. If I only disconnect with explorer and not MC10 then it seems that the IPOD database is not corrupted.
Regarding performance. The best I have been able to achieve is 750k/sec.
Thanks,
Doug

Doug,
Regarding the disconnect with 98 and speed, can you test with MC 11 to see if things improve?
