Title: Import Media Files from Multiple Locations
Post by: wrafter on January 02, 2005, 05:36:29 am
Hi,

I want to import music files from one location; photos from another location and Podcasts from another location.

Therefore I find the import media files feature a little cumbersome as I need to change the import location depending on the type of file I'm trying to import.

Now, I'm guessing there's a better power-user way of doing this. Can anyone advise what I might do?

Thanks,

Wrafter

In Explorer, you can use the right click import.

You can also use the browse button in the import dialog.

I agree this needs a re-work.

Well Jim, you improved that one already in MC11 but some of us out there are still to scared to use it. (I had some really strange behavior on my computer with MC11...)

Good one on the context menu in Windows, hadn't used it - it's an option should it be required.

OK on the browse button, I had been using it, rather than typing in the path, and that was the point of my query, it's the browsing that can be somewhat cumbersome. But I accept that you have pegged that one for tweaking - thank you.

On MC11 I too have hesitated on downloading it, cos my MC10 works sweetly, and when things work sweetly I always hesitate breaking them, or messing with them.

Thanks.
