Paul was a champion of the less fortunate Americans. It's a great loss for Minnesota and the nation.

Yea i know, to include one of his kids, been watching it for the last few hours on FOXNEWS
to include 3 aids and two pilots

Though, I always didn't agree with him, I respected him as a man willing to stand for his issues. Too bad Iowa (where I am from), does not send more men like him to Washington (Senator Grassley of Iowa may be the exception).

The news of this spread like wildfire thru the site today. It is a great loss for Minnesota, and many who stood beside him. He was also a champion for the trades, and will be sorely missed.
A Good Man

Wellstone's politics aside, no family should experience the grief that his two sons are now saddled with. My heart goes out to them.

From what I have been hearing, he was a man who stood up for his believes & believed what he stood for.
Several years ago, we in Texas had a very good senator die in a plane crash in Africa. He was trying to do good for the common man.
Seems like the good die young.
Paul will be missed by many. God bless him.
