Title: MC & XBOX
Post by: benjamin00 on January 05, 2005, 12:04:43 pm
Hi,

I'm using Media Center for a while now, and it's really difficult to stop it when you try it, but i have a problem now my computer is really far away from my TV so i need to use my XBOX for an intermediary to watch my movies and pictures.
So my question is : is there a way to have my MC library on my xbox like it's seems to work with TIVO?

thanks for your answer

Benjamin

At the moment, no there isn't. If XBox supports UPnp, then it should work soon, but I don't think XBox does.

You can try it with the MC11 UPnP plugin and let me know the results.

There is some sort of open-source project ongoing which can convert your XBox into a media center type system (like Windows Media Center edition frontend).

I believe that you need a "modchipped" xbox to run it.

Have a squizz at http://www.xboxmediacenter.de/

Hope this helps...
