We're still working on Media Center 11. We appreciate your feedback on it, but MC11 may not work as expected and we can't yet fully support it. Some plugins still do not work.
We recommend that you use MC10 below, but if you want to use MC 11 while we're building it, PRICES are here:

Crashing here too. Options.
-
- Edit a long Existing Playlist in Action Window
- Scroll down toward the end of Playlist
- Drag a track into the Playlist
>>> After the new track is added, the Playlist view is reset to show track 1 at the top instead of staying where you had scrolled ... this is a big problem if you want to keep dragging tracks to where you originally scrolled
-
Is it me or is the "recently imported" automatic playlist section missing?
Is it there and has been moved? Where?
Can i re-create it? How?
Thanks.

MC v.11.0.164 (I don't want to upgrade to a crash-prone v. 11.0.167) :P
I don't know if this is important or not, nor if it's an MC thing or a WMP thing, but I figured I'd report it anyway.
For WMA protected files, the license rights seem to be wrong somewhere. I purchased some tracks (just for fun) from the new MSN Music site (from inside WMP 10) the other day. Being a loyal MC fan, I still use MC to play these protected tracks.
According to WMP, I can burn this track unlimited times. (Coolness!) According to MC, though, I can only burn it 10 items. (Bummer.) Which is it?

I decided to live life on the edge and import everything (well, everything on one drive anyway) into MC. This drive just consists of all multimedia type files (audio, images, and video).
The total file count is above 71K. :o (Didn't know I had that much stuff on this one drive!) Anyway, I was surfing the web while I waited, and all the sudden MC (in the background, partially hidden) went white. I guess it tried to repaint itself, but for some reason it can't. (It's at 65K now and still can't repaint itself fully.)
By the way, I was just reading the Wikipedia web page when this happened. My hand wasn't even on my mouse (i.e., no window movements), so MC really had no reason to repaint itself. You guys should fix that. :P
Anyway, here's a screenshot:

(Note: ImageShack reduces the image size. Just click on it again to see it full size.)

This started in 166 I think. Still present in this build.
I am in Playing Now and have Track Info:DJ showing.
MC has focus.
I move the mouse pointer away from MC completely.
Anytime the mouse pointer moves the lower scroll bar appears. Maybe that is why people think it is refreshing often.
Looks like MC doesn't see that the mouse is not inside its window.

Not that this needs confirmation, but I can confirm this.

With Split View enabled and startup option set to open with "Playing Now," the top split view is transparent (I can see my desktop) and resizing the top split view creates window edge trails. It's great that the second view no longer opens with the "Start" view, but the split view thing still needs work:

MC keeps crashing when it gets about to the 2/3 of any song.
This started happening with 164. Also happens on 166 and 167.
I downgraded to 162 and it is fine.
Let me know if you want the crash dump.

I can see where you think it was MC crashing, but actually it was AutoScrobbler.
I've seen many posts about that plugin. I think I'd disable or remove it until either MC is not alpha or the AS author can find why his tool crashes.
Not like listening depends upon it.
