Title: Is MC 10 Media Server compatible with MC11 client ?

Hi folks,

My current setup is :
Main (stable) server PC with MC 10
Client (experimental) PC with MC 11.0.162

The client connects and download the library from the server fine but each time I try and play a file on the client I get an error :
"Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right locations".

Is it an MC10/11 incompatibility by design or just a known bug since MC11 is still beta ?

Hi Christian,
Happy New Year.

MC11 Media Server changed to Library Server (under plug-ins in the tree for now).  It isn't compatible with MC10.

And yes, Happy new year 2 U 2 and to all the JRiver gang !

For my media server it looks like I have to upgrade my main PC to MC11 or downgrade my clients to MC 10. Not a big problem anyway.
