I've got a problem:
When I'm clicking “stop” MC always crashes. There is an error message appearing:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: […]\Media Center.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.
Sometimes it appears and sometimes MC just closes down without any message. I switched every single setting in MCs Playback->Audio section, but the error stays.

I don't think that's an MC bug. Are you running any third party programs or plug-ins?
-
Only King Spartas Lyrics Finder...
Some Windows Programms:
Panda AV
ZoneAlarm
Microsoft ActiveSync
CMedia Mixer (Soundcard Volume Control)
Nothing else

Well, I'm using Winamp, Zoomplayer, WMPlayer, Real and BSPlayer. The applications are working fine. I just tried out iTunes (just for you; I like Media Center much more so I don't have iTunes usually). It works fine, also.
-
My bet is a soundcard issue. I'd install the latest drivers. If that doesn't work try killing that CMedia Mixer thing. Also try changing the audio settings for 'Clip protection'.
-
What file type?
What if you try other file types?
It may be worth trying an uninstall / reinstall.

I'm sorry for wasting your time. It's the old thing using Windows: Either reboot or reinstall. Reinstalling MC fixed all my problems. No stopping works fine.
Thanks for helping me!
