The Problem is that the Ipod will not allow me to select a playlist from the Alarm Clock menu and thus never goes off unless I select beep which really sucks.
I suspect this is a problem for everyone else who is not using Itunes to sync playlists etc...
This link may also relate to MC's Ipod support.

If anyone else who is using MC and not able to get their alarms working with a playlist, could please make a post.

The Playlist alarm clock feature does not work at this time.

Cool. So It is an Itunes thing but MC could possibly have it.

Yes,
It is a matter of taking some time to scour the iTunes database to figure out how to flag a playlist to play as an alarm.
