Title: Playback volume drops after 15 sec

I am having a problem with MC v10.0.155.  When playing back tracks (some ripped, some purchased) the volume automatically drops after 5-15 secs (varies).  It's a significant drop...like 20-40%.

Playback in WMP is fine with no noticeable drop in volume.

I haven't tried to change the format of the track or normalize it in any way.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem.  Any ideas what might be causing this?

Edit: only I am using v10.0.173 when it occurs.  These tracks play fine in other media players so it is not the track.
