Title: Survey: What are you listening to? (we haven't done this one in a while)
Post by: modelmaker on January 10, 2005, 11:48:54 pm
So, what are we listening to these days?

I've been in a bit of a time warp, I've been replacing a lot of my old Genesis LP's with CDs and HQ downloads.

Listening to: 'Watcher Of The Skies' from 'Live - 1973' by 'Genesis' on Media Center 9.0

also:

Listening to: 'Non Blondes - Misty Mountain Hop' from 'Encomium (A Tribute To Led Zeppelin)' by '(Multiple Artists)(1995)' on Media Center 9.0

I just noticed that I became a"Citizen Of The Unverse" today! (500 posts)  ::)

A series of Nashville soul 45s - esp Rogana prods - by Jimmy Church, Rodge Martin, Tiny Watkins, Dottie Clark, Eddie James etc for a possible US CD release in the Spring.

Also Eddie Bo, Little Joe Blue, Ray Goodman & Brown and the Gladiators for light relief.

John.

There was once a shortcut to copy the 'listening song' to the clipbord. To copy it elsewhere (let's say to a post like this). I don't remember it.

Right now I'm using it over my customized toolbar (>Options>Tree & View>Customize Toolbar>Copy 'Listening to')
Anyone remembers the shortcut? (There is no hint in Help)

I just right-click on the "Playing Now" node on the tree itself.  That doesn't work for you?

Omni,

thanks for the hint, this was new for me. And it works.
But the shortcut would be helpful anyway. Using fullscreened G-Force or something similar.

I'll probably get berated by the staff for suggesting this (:P), but looking through the Resource.xml file, I see the following entry:

Code: [Select]
<Entry Command="25015" Text="Copy 'Listening To'" />
With that info, and with the current keyboard mappings (found near the bottom), you can probably hack in your own shortcut.  8)
