Title: Burned cd's and car stereos
Post by: jschreck on July 08, 2003, 06:01:21 pm
Not sure if this is the board to post this on or not....couldn't find one for older versions.....

I am using Media Jukebox (7.2) to burn audio cd's.  However, we bought new vehicles that will not play the cd's I create anymore.

While at my sisters this weekend, they made my daughter a cd using Roxio Easy CD Creator, 5.0.  The cd they made works in both of my new vehicles!

Why won't cds I create from Media Jukebox work any longer?  I bought the exact same cd-r they used with no results (Memorex Music CD-R)!  Is there a certain encoder I should be using?

Please help so I don't switch to Roxio over Media Jukebox!

Some players are more sensitive than others.  Try using a different color of CD to burn.  Try the brand your sister uses.

already tried that.....and in fact bought the exact same kind she used on Roxio!  Still nothing.  Anyone know if the encoder language I am using could be the problem?  What language should I be using?

If you are using MJ to burn an audio CD, that is all you need to do.  Encoding is not an issue.

It may be your drive.  Try slowing down the burn.
