It is my understanding that Media Center will play files stored in WAV format on my PC and convert them on the fly into MP3's for use with TIVO.
At what Bitrate are the files converted and sent to TIVO. I find 128 files to be of too low of quality for my tastes. Can you control the bitrate??
Thanks for any help you can provide.
I currently have over 6,000 WAV files from 1400 artists on my PC. Does anyone have any comments on how quickly/Slowly you can find your files using TIVO with Media Center. My concern is that it will be so slow as to unusable.
Any comments are appreciated.

Higher bitrate MP3 is available during conversion. You can try MC for 30 days for free.
