Title: Directv TiVo and MC?
Post by: tristeve on January 21, 2005, 08:18:42 am
Is MC10 compatible with the Directv TiVo (I think it's a Hughes box). Still trying to get my head around how the 2 work together.

Thanks,

Steve

I don't think so.  MC works with TiVo's Home Media Option and I don't think the DirectTV version has that.

Here is some good info from DirectTV regarding TIVO HMO

Thanks for your inquiry. We are sorry but our DVR units do not currently support the Home Media Option. We're always looking for ways to enhance our services, and customer feedback is very important to us. I have forwarded your comments on to DIRECTV Management.

We often make changes to our service based on customer requests, and we conduct customer surveys on a regular basis to get feedback and new ideas.

Thanks again for your suggestion, and stay tuned to DIRECTV.com for the latest news and information about our service.

HMO is a feature of TiVo service.
Dish PVR's aren't TiVo powered.
