Title: Playing now while MC not visible?

Anyone out there know if it's possible to do the following?

1. Have the currently playing track appear in the Media Center icon on the taskbar (i.e while MC is minimised? I think Winamp did something similar...

2. Better still, when a new track starts, have it briefly appear in the top area of the screen (a la MTV). Sort of what Girder does with it's on screen display if you see what I mean.
Having a mini-me skin always on top might have the same effect, but it's irritating having to move the thing around all the time...
