How can i convert from Wav or mp3 files to midi using MJ8 or Media Editor?

You need to use a synthetizer. MIDI files are just like sheet music on paper, playback instructions for synthetizers. They are not audio files. Windows and many sound cards have a build-in MIDI synthetizer. You must find a way to record the sound output to an audio file. Perhaps somebody else can give you specific instructions on how to do that.

Oh sorry, you asked from audio to MIDI. I really don't know. You may have to write the notes with a notation program.
