Title: upgrade

I have not been able to get MC10 to upgrade. It has said there is an update for 6 months but every time I start the install, when the preparing to install progress bar finishes it just quits. I even tried to install MC11, same thing.

It could be a firewall problem.

Try downloading directly.

Temp file space may also be full.

Okay I did a clean un-install removed registry entries and restarted. Downloaded MC 100173 setup and it still wouldn’t complete the install. However installing in safe mode did the trick. I had disabled all my security apps except zone alarm pro previously so that may have been the offending program. :)
