Title: error while analizing  song...mp3 is an MPEG layer

Mp3 is an MPEG layer,not a layerIII file.
Just would like to understand what it means.
And,how someone can have it on his computer

MP1 Is MPEG 1 (Layer I)
MP2 Is MPEG 1 (Layer II)
MP3 Is MPEG 1 (Layer III)

I think that MP3 is really the audio layer from MPEG2.

MPEG-3 and Layer-3
Layer-3 is a powerful audio coding scheme which certainly is part of the MPEG standard. Layer-3 is defined within the audio part of both existing international standards, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2.

So, there was a "layer 3" in both MPEG1 and MPEG2.

MPEG describes the compression of audio signals using high performance perceptual coding schemes. It specifies a family of three audio coding schemes, simply called Layer-1,-2,-3, with increasing encoder complexity and performance (sound quality per bitrate) from 1 to 3.

MPEG layer-3 is the most widely used MPEG compression. It is used over layers 1 and 2 because it compresses more than the other two standards can. The company Fraunhofer-IIS has been the main developer of MPEG audio Layer-3. Which, in short, is called MP3.


Question for all: At Hydrogen Audio u can "associate" a word with a link. I've seen it here at Interact but I haven't figured out how it's done.

Analizing is toke from the pop-up window you get from MP3Gain.
It is not a mistake i did,well it is in one, in one  way cause analyse in french as well....
Kind of roumanians learning that 'ma poule est dans la cour' in french
My ' hen is in the yard' for you .
But' my cock is in kind of analising 'for roumanians....

The Lame Yud is about a song from a skinhead  neo-nazi band  that i got on Audiogalaxy.A French band.I got A LOAD of bands and  songs.
The one who encoded the song toke the time to change the name of the encoder.
In EncSpot,you get 'Judas was a skinhead' 128 kps encoder Lame Yud.
I posted about it,it was so stupid and sick what itwas funny.
