Title: Royale (Ergonomic) Beta 2

This is the first beta of a skin I've been working for a long time. I've spent more time on this skin than any other skin I've made so far.

Please post any bugs/suggestions in this thread. Keep in mind, some areas are still not done yet and there's lots to do.

I plan on redoing the player buttons a little bit more. I have something in mind but it's gonna take awhile. The action window and progress bar took the most time to get it exact.

Lisa, I'm not able to find where to change this. I know what you're talking about.

Dragyn,
This is quite off topic, but could I maybe persuade you to redo the close button (the X) for Codename: MC. In the XP theme I have it'll only turn red when hovered but in the MC version it'll always stay red. I tried fixing it myself but it turn out all weird...

just overwrite those images in the codename opus directory with these.


just so other ppl know, this skin is based from codename: opus.

ok..added beta 2.

redid the player buttons, top border, player display.
fixed the progress meters (CD Rip, etc).
changed some colors and other stuff that I don't remember.

I think skinned splitters would finish the look.  Here's sample XML:

Dragyn I love this skin!    It goes very well with my "Crystal" styled windowblinds  just needs a little penguin somewhere (hehehe).....do you think you could do one to go with Pixtudio's "LightBlue"?   Just realized that your "Oplulance " goes great with the "Ivory"  windowblinds.      Bet

thanks everyone..still a work in progress.

Matt, I had skinned splitters at the beginning...I'll probably add them back if I can figure out what to have them look like. Could you take a look at Lisa's problem with this skin? I also have a hard time seeing this.

Bet, it will be awhile before any variations of this skin is out. just look how long it took to get this one.

I just added some skin effect options to this skin if some of you don't like the default colors.

This might be something you want to try Bet with your skin matching. You're desktops look really good too!

I like this skin, but there isn't quite enough contrast in the left pane for my aging eyes (black text on a medium-blue background).

Bumping up the font size a notch or two might help (it did for me).

Thanks.  I don't want the tree to use up more room than it does now is the thing.

On another note, I'm not a fan of the staggered prev/play/stop/next button arrangement.

  I love your skins and am happily mixing and matching - even more so now that I have ventured into the scary world of Photoshop and have learned how to recolor wallpapers and even recolor icon packages.

Hey,
Your skin is really nice and I've been hunting for a Royale skin for a while now. Althouhg I really aprreciate your hard work, i have a small request - the title bar of your skin is very narrow unlike other windows. How do you increase the height of the title bar. Title bar or caption bar, what ever it is called. Also, your colours dont seem to match those of the Royale skin? Could you help me change it. Thanks!
