Title: Enhancements to web interface (RemoteServer)?

I am wondering if it would be possible to enhance the web interface at all exposed by RemoteServer?  In particular I would like a way to search and access documents in the library.  I ask because I want to access some text documents filed in Media Center but I cannot run Media Center on the device that needs to access them (so I cannot use the Library Server and have to use a web browser).  Thanks.

Yes I have.  So you're saying that there won't be any enhancements and writing something using automation will be necessary?

The RemoteServer interface is unlikely to change.

Jim, is there documentation somewhere on the RemoteServer protocol and how to use it?  I didn't find this in the developer pages.  Thanks.

That's not an interface that is exposed.  There's no documentation that's publicly available.
