We recommend that you use MC10 below, but if you want to use MC 11 while we're building it, PRICES are here:

MC 11 Improvements

I've had some trouble syncing to my iPod, and I think it may be due to a rounding error for the volume reading at the bottom center of the MC window...  When I sync my iPod, (~27 GB) the volume of data selected for the sync is larger than the volume displayed bottom center, even when I'm syncing all of the songs in the current list.  This isn't a deal breaker, but it gets confusing when you are trying to sync as close to the max number of songs as possible.

MC11 is sweet, thanks!

The Library Server won't accept or even log connections if authentication is enabled.

Hildy,
To me, this seems to be related to what I reported for 11.0.184:     as reply #27:
"Cannot sync with my iPoD!"

For me, the problems seem to be gone in .184, though.  Now my sync works.

Maybe it would be useful for the JRiver people if you could compare your problem to the screenshots at   http://web.telia.com/~u31404887/MC11fel/fel050203.htm .
Do you get the same beaviour or is your  problem different?

1. Importing seems to take longer than it should and the number of files imported into the library is reported incorrectly.  Also, while MC is searching for new files, parts of the previous dialogue window GUI remain on the screen.

2. When MC finishes analyzing large number of files, the analyzing window never displays " completed" and the exit button stays greyed out, even though the file analysis is compleeted.

I made a smallish folder and imported it into a new library.
Seems fast enough to me. The 'refresh' is even quicker.

"Library now has 2347 files. Search and update took 0:02."

I do not do image/movie/doc/etc. Just music files, APE, APL, MP3, MPC

How many files? How long is it taking?
How many files is it reporting? How many are actually there? Do you have any CUE files? Are they selected to be imported?

There appears to be no status indicator during Audio Analysis. The Status column is blank.

When in Tagging Mode, the check marks do not appear when a category (e.,g, Genre) is selected, and the view scheme panels do not update unless you navigate to another view and back.
