Happy Year of the Cock!

It is Chinese New Year!

If you have never seen this, you have missed quite a spectacle!
The smoke from fireworks is so thick you choke on it. There is a constant barrage of colors and sound. Even in the stairwells 888-8000 strings of firecrackers are set off to chase bad luck away.

My building will find that it did not work. The foreigner is still here...

Funny you should ask. Since this is "my" year, I am supposed to wear red underwear. It will bring me luck.
