hi - I REALLY tried to find an answer before posting this question...
and after using MJ/MC for almost two years now... here are my first questions:
- can someone give me instructions how to be able to use glass and acajou skins in theater view ? I get an error message after selecting them (version: Media Center 11.0.177 (registered))
- is there any way to use theater view in windowed mode? this might sound silly - but I do like the UI a lot and am using it in a car-PC. problem is that I can't switch to a different application without leaving the fullscreen/atheater mode. also it would be awesome if I could have the theater view window in one part of the screen and the navigation in the other...
(it is quite difficult to switch applications at 220 km/h per hour on the German freeways...)
thx in advance for any help - getting the thater view in windowed mode would myke my day :)

Man, I do miss the Autobahn! :(

There's no windowed mode for Theater View, but you can add an application to it by right clicking and choosing "Configure Theater View".
-
good idea - and it works well for launching the app.
couldn't figure out how to switch between -theater view- and -2nd app- though.
it is cool that u get back to the theater view after closing the app that was launched this way.

hi again - is there any chance someone can help?

It's possible that not all skins work with Theater View yet.
Try updating.

thx - appreciate the quick feedback!
my two cents if anyone cares...: MC is the best and only mediaplayer on the market - I wish all the embedded functions in notebooks and peripherals (logitech) would use MC instead of WMP...
@modelmaker: will go back on the autobahn now: with snow it is even more fun!
