Title: Explanation of the zone-feature
Post by: Wolfsrudel on February 13, 2005, 02:16:51 pm
hi,

as a newbie plz allow my (maybe stupid) question:

can i use the zone-feature in jrmc10  for playing different songs/playlists in different zones?

i.e.

with my amp i have 2 zones (living room, kitchen).

is it possible to play one playlist in the living room via soundcard1 and another playlist via soundcard2 in the kitchen?

i know my amp can handle the 2 inputs correctly. is the jrmc zone-feature meant for putting out 2 different sound-"streams" at the same time?

thx for your help.
chris

Yes, you can.  Check user Mastiff's site.  It's listed in the FAQ near the top of this board.

You have no idea, modelmaker...  ;) 8)

Oh, Wolfsrudel, I have not yet hit the roof with "sound streams", I think my record was six sound cards playing different music at the same time in a Duron 1.2.  ;D
