Title: ipod mini crashing MC11.0.162

Hi,
recently purchased mini ipod. Connected it to MC11.0.162 (registered)  which reports it in hand held devices....so far so good. Click on the ipod tab and bang, MC throws an error and closes. I can see the ipod thru windows as a drive and via itunes.
please help....i hate itunes!
