Title: How do you get Media Center to minimize at startup?
Post by: steveMH on February 23, 2005, 09:02:31 pm
I want to use media center with Mainlobby/MusicLobby, and I want it to minimize automatically at startup.  I already have it loading at startup, but is there a way within Media Center itself to have the program minimize to the task bar automatically upon launching at startup?
Thanks.

I'm not using MC11, however, in MC Options>General there should be an option for "minimize to system tray".

Yes, I have tried that, and it will work, but you still have to manually minimize the program for it to minimize to the taskbar--I am wondering if there is a way to have it minimize automatically at startup, similiar to how MLServer is able to accomplish this.  If using this with Mainlobby/Musiclobby, I would like it to automatically load each time the computer loads, but to automatically go to taskbar and not have to "see" the actual program at all after startup.  Thanks.

marko,

Thanks for the help!  It worked great! I had been working on that for awhile, great to finally have it working properly.  Thanks again!
