Title: Removing the DeskBar?
Post by: gpvillamil on February 23, 2005, 10:14:49 pm
I have an early beta of the DeskBar installed. I had it switched off, but out of the blue it now gives me an error messaging say that the beta has timed out, every time I start MC10.

How do I completely remove the DeskBar? It does not appear in the Control Panel/Add & Remove Programs dialog.

The deskbar is at the location you gave.

However, when I run that command string, I get the beta time-out message, followed by something about failing to initialize the DLL.

The DeskBar still shows up in the Toolbars menu. I can delete the DLL.

This is not working. I am still getting the beta time-out message when I start MC10.

I had this problem it too. I tried to find unistall for the Deskbar at first, but then I let it be. I had already changed to MC11 and rarely started MC10. Uninstalling MC10 cured it for good. Now I have only MC11 on my main MC/HT PC where the problem appeared.
