Title: Remote Control Application
Post by: Stargazer on February 24, 2005, 06:11:58 pm: Hello Everyone.... I have been wanting to ask about this for quite a while, and today is the day.....

I run MC 11 on one system, and run the audio through my componet stereo system. I use another system for my every day work.

I would love an application that I can run on my everyday system to send basic player commands to MC running on the second system, like play, stop, track skips, volume/mute, etc.

Possible?

That appears to be a physical remote control. I'm talking about a software application to run on a seperate computer than what MC is running on to control MC. I do not want to stream music to a second system either, I want to control via software, MC.

Post by: Stargazer on February 26, 2005, 10:10:31 am: Nah... its a Microsoft Windows Server 2003, for Small Business Server.... I would use Remote Desktop instead. The point was to get something that was not to disruptive to my work flow. I have been using a KVM to switch back and fourth.
