I had too this advice "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: c:\Temp\RarSFX0\InstallWizard.exe This applicain has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

My config :

MB MSI P4MAM-V
CPU Intel Celeron 2.6 GHz
Chipset Via VT8751A & VT8235
Windows XP Home + SP2

Media Center 11.0.199  ?

BUT with MC 11.0.201, bingo ... it works and installs without a breeze  ;D

Sorry about this.

As Pegase64 noted, it is fixed with newer builds.
