Hello,
I want to setup a machine within our LAN so that when someone starts MC it automatically connects with my running MC server on the LAN.
Furthermore this client shouldn't be bothered with the 'Shall I search the drives for you'-dialogue from MC: can I switch that one off?

Assign the server address in Library Manager to a new library. MC will start with it if it was used the last time.
Actually, I would like to see that optional. Quite often I forget to change back to the local library before closing MC. I don't always have the server running. It would be good to have an option for the default startup library.

Nice idea Alex.

If this is an enhancement you're going to do, may I suggest that one of the choices for the default library be "none".
With this setting, when MC is started, it would simply open to a prompt to select a library from the possible choices.
Click and go after that.

OK, I'll jump in..
Another feature I'd love to see is the option to reuse a library download from a previous session. In other words, MC would check to see if it already had a library from the selected server at startup (or when another server is selected), and if it did, it could prompt to see if you wanted a refresh.
My library takes about 2 minutes to download, so I notice this stuff....

I agree with funnyguy: that would be a handy feature!
