today the 28th day of Feb.
-
I'm pretty bloody good mate...and yourself?
-
fine, don't have work again because of snow the best of all is i get paid for doing my music stuff.
-
You lucky! (Actually, I'm planning on that for tomorrow when the snow hits us up here).
-
How do you get paid for playing with yer music stuff?
(Actually, I would prefer a job where I get paid to go fishing - and I'm not talking about Alaskan Crab fishing on a huge boat in seas which make the movie Perfect Storm look like pond ripples, either!! - Sort of like Steve Irwin but with a fishing rod instead of a baby, and fish instead of crocodiles)
-
I'm fine, except for a back that looks like it's been exposed to a nuclear reactor, and blisters on the top of my toes from my booties. Oh yeah: and very little sleep combined with the usual frustration of airlines...
Speaking of fishing, I ate a bit of a hog snapper. It was a huge and tasty fish. I didn't catch it, another guy did with a spear gun.

Whereabouts did this happen, Mr. Gateley?
-
At the second largest barrier reef in the world :)
At this point, the largest is still just a dream for me, y'all live so far away.

Ah well...it's not as far as you'd think...
16.5 hours on a flight...you can fly direct to Cairns (north Queensland), and from there, almost the whole Queensland coastline has the Barrier reef offshore. The further north you go, the closer the reef is to the shore...
I live in Brisbane which is at the South-East corner of Queensland.
You'll love it if ya go...and as the ad says "You'll never never know if ya never ever go"...

Things are looking great here. Not enough sunshine for a suntan or even putting the old cutoffs on (unless of course you are a college student!) or takin' the socks off and wearing just the Birkinstocks (another Victorian manisfestation, alas). It's looking very spring like, but feels like winter. Had the annual flower count last week and for once we didn't get a dump of snow right after!!!
Mr. Gateley it sounds like you had yourself a nice vacation - welcome back!
