Title: A New Phone
Post by: KingSparta on March 03, 2005, 07:30:54 pm
Yesterday I Got A New Cell Phone

NEC 535M 32 Megs, Thru SunCom

I am Wondering if i could Put Music On It (MC11 Plug-In?)

Any How So I Get The Internet Package E-mail And All That, And Come To Find Out, Suncom's System Does Not Support E-Mail, So Basicly The Phone Is Worthless For E-Mail Using SunCom.

Hand To The Forehead Why Would They Sell You Something (Internet Service) Without E-Mail.

Kind Of Don't Make Sence To Me.

This is a timely discussion though - just got a new Audiovox XV6600 on Verizon Wireless.  It's a Pocket PC (with 2003 Second Edition) on Verizon's EV-DO National Broadband with unlimited access, so naturally I thought of using some sort of PPC MC11 client to connect to the Library Server on my home computer - be cool to stream my entire library, Playlists and all, to my phone :)

Any thoughts on ways of achieving this? NetRemote works on the the device, but it's really for controlling the MC11 host on my PC, wish it could stream the music to my Pocket PC instead!

if you have windows mobile on the phone you could just drag and drop from the sync-explore option in the ppc and the explorer in windows and then use any player (i reccomend mort player : http://sto-helit.de/freeware/pocketpc/mortplayer/en/  its free and the best out there)

for some reason there isnt a mc 11 pda plugin yet...it had it in 10....but hopefully there will be one soon
