I can't convert my wma files to mp3 in mj plus.
This chart on your web site says that encoding mp3 is unrescricted...
http://www.jrmediacenter.com/comparison.html
But mj plus says that wma is an unsupported format.
what is wrong?
?

As posted nov 28 2003 by JimH
WMA conversion is no longer supported in MJ due to licensing restrictions.
JRiver Media Center will still convert WMA files that are NOT copy protected.
i think it also may depend if your using the newer windows media player, i think back then they were using media player 7, If you have a newer media player from microsoft installed it may not work.

thx for the input. I was able to convert the files to mp3 by booting my computer into my Win 2000 Server installation and running mj from there. Windows media is an older version with that os. So in your face Microsoft! ;D

i can't remember
your lucky most people can't do that, and they think it is J. Rivers Fault.
