What is that little Tic or Click I hear whenever MC starts to play a track or switches tracks? The sound comes from my computer speakers and I have the sound card output for MC playback sent to my audio system.
I sound like a computer sound, not a computer noise. Is this a bug? Something wrong with MY computer?
Am I the only one that gets it? Can it be turned off somehow?

It is the "Change page" noise that I.E. makes. I have no idea why MC plays this, but it does. You can disable it for I.E. and then you won't have it in MC of course. But I think MC shouldn't do that.

Thanks, finally found it.
Control Panel->Sounds and Audio Devices
Sound Tab
Scroll Down to Windows Explorer and remove the sound for "Start Navigation"
That took some looking around, who would ever think that "Start Navigation" would be the name of the event for changing a track...

Not me.
I just don't like turning off system sounds to make an app do what I want. In this case, not make a noise at each track change.
If it just has to be for some reason then there should be a button in MC config to disable the sound.

Does this only happen if you have a track info page visible?
We currently try to disable this sound on start and reenable it on shutdown. I'm not sure what's happening.
Thanks for any more details.

I have Track Info: DJ for Now Playing
I go to the playlists and choose any of them.
Go back to Now Playing. I get the sound.
At track change after that I get the sound.

I didn't have this issue until I installed 213.
I always use a track info page.
Not sure if you made any changes regarding above or not just thought I'd let you know.
