Title: can not create system tray icon?!?

hi guys!

i just installe my MC 11 on the new upgrade computer i got (horray for me ;D!). everthing went well with (all the export import of my library etc). only thing that is really really annoying is that i tried a couple of the last builds and they all dont work but rather give me the: "can not create system tray icon" error message! does anyone have a solution for this?

If you're running Deskbar, try uninstalling it.

If not, I don't know.

i dont even know what deskbar is but i certainly dont have it on. anyone else knows?

I have/had similar issues.  It has to do with something else in your startup that is not playing nice with the System Tray.

Unfortunately, the only way I've found to resolve is to remove everything from your startup (msconfig) and add them back one by one trying to figure out which one (or possibly multiple ones) are causing the problem.

Once & If you figure out what program is the problem, good luck.  Look for updates to that program, try to uninstall/reinstall it, disable it from startup, or give up & ignore the error (I had to do this on one of my PCs).

If you come up with anything better, I'd LOVE to know.
