OK still getting to grips with this one.
So me and my Sister are now looking at each others music (Quite novell!)
and we're playing it (Very clever).
Can I take part of her collection and add it to my own?
Short of telling it to copy files, and then updating the library?
(She after all may turn her computer off when i use mine etc).
Secondly can I view more than one server at a time?
Or view my own library mixed in with hers?
Cheers

"no" to all of these. Media Server (and it's current incarnation Library Server) is designed to listen to music remotely, not transfer music to other databases.

I knew it ended in erver :-)
OK.
Reckon it would be a nice feature tho to view all the music a cross my network
on all computers... and search them :-)
I realise these are close on the boundaries of p2p stuff tho.
Thanks for the info.

well what could be done is
if the license that is enabled on the server is also the same license as the remote then the music must belong to the user.
so if it belongs to the user then allowing files to be passed from server to remote could be enabled.
if not then the transfer will only be stream.
