Title: MC11: Proper way to install on a Multi-user PC?
Post by: sbsp2 on March 09, 2005, 10:47:31 am
With MC11, what's the proper way to install for a multi-user PC (Win2000)?

Install under each user login?  Or, just under one and 'share' the program install group with all users?

Does MC11 require Admin rights anymore?  I thought I read it did not anymore.  The users will be Power Users only (not Admins).

Thanks.

Have you tried installing?  It should work.

Nope...I'm not going to try installing until I know the proper way to install for a multi-user PC with no Admin rights.  Why waste time uninstalling and restoring backups if I can have JR tell me the correct way!?

I have WinXP so I'm not sure if it will work the same.  I logged on as the administrator and installed MC11.  Works fine when logged on as the administrator or as a limited user.
