Title: Headings
Post by: tterrag on March 09, 2005, 04:04:50 pm
Here I am for the 2nd time with what, I'm sure, is a dumb question.
My needs are simple and uncomplicated - so explain - if you can "like I'm a 6 year old".      I do have a lot of music on my Media Center - Version 10.
I used to have these really neat headings - album/artist - genre - and I've done something to lose them and I'm clueless as to how to get them back.
I really liked these headings.

Thanks.

to clarify - I meant headings in my media library.   See I can't even explain my problem!!

I am guessing, but could it be possible that you have accidentally changed your view settings and some of your columns are simply not visible even the information is still in your MC library? You can change that in View > View Settings > Customize Current View. You could also experiment with the other View options. Check also the MC Help.

I'm lost -I've played around in the view thing and it doesn't help - I haven't a clue how to get those headings back.
Any other advice???

maybe you can post a screenshot of what you have and what is missing, circle it in red.

In trying to post  a screenshot (totally clueless on that one) - I somehow managed to drag those headings back from the dead!!    Life is good, again!

Something to do with dragging   Whew!!

I'll bet you had the vertical divider that normally divides the tree on the left from the content window on the right all the way over to the left side so the tree was hidden.  There are two small triangles on it that move it back and forth.
