Hi all,
Ok, I managed to get my version licenced, but now, when I try and download an MP3 encoder, I keep on getting "Fail To Connect To A Server" error message. Can anyone advise what the heck that means (b/c my internet is working perfectly), and how I can fix it.
Thanks in advance,
Quarterwave

Thanks for replying King.... yep, that's the link that I've been trying to get it from. It keeps on saying "fail to connect to server" ? FWIW, the computer that I'm using is literally a 3 day old P4 3.0 HP, and I have super fast cable hook up (not sure of the bit rate or whatever, but most webpages take only a second or so to load....
Any ideas ?
Thanks again in advance,

it could be your provider
you can get around it (maybe) by using a proxy

Thanks King.....
Pardon my ignorance but what is a proxy and how can I get one ?
Thx,

I get exactly the same problem when trying to install the mp3 encoder from home (via dial up). From my university account it works just fine
Is it possible to get hold of the installation file and then install this encoder manually?

The whole Media Jukebox site including the download area seems to be inaccessible at the moment.
Installing the MJ8's MP3 plug-in worked a few weeks ago when I tested upgrading from old MJ/MC versions.

Yep, Broken

I could have hosted the plug-in temporally, but I don't have MJ8's MP3 encoder installed right now and downloading it doesn't work.

My fault (on security restart yesterday). It's back up now. Thanks for the heads up.
